Here's me on the way to Stornoway last weekend.
And here's the Standing Stones of Callanish erected over 5000 years ago by some hairy a$$ed bikers!

"did you have a good trip mate."
Aye and naw.
Trip up was superb...Green Welly Special breakfast in Tyndrum, weather dry, stoped off at a place called Muir Of Ord and went on a Whisky Distillery tour. Really great day oot. Covered 260 miles and bike was running like a dream.
Got to the Westen Isles and in true fashion it started pi$hing down...didn't stop till I left on Monday!
Like a scene from Parahandy the ferry which was meant to leave at 0600 wasn't going to go till 1600, so we headed down to Tarbet in Harris to get the ferry to Skye. As we were pulling in to Skye you could see the clouds forming (I've never been to Skye when it hasn't rained).
Got to Skye 10 hours later than originally planed and it took 6 hours from there to Ayrshire. Time I got to Loch Lommond it was completely flooded and blowing a gale. Had to get my mates in the people carrier to drive in front of me as I could hardly see the road!
Got home at 10 past midnight. Total nightmare journey.
Can't wait for the next big trip though
