can anybody tell me where any bike breakers are

I wouldn't use a second hand piston, even if you could get one. Pistons wear unique to the bore. A used one could seize in the bore because it has worn a different way to your bore.
You probably will only get a replacement engine from a breakers anyhow.
Your best bet would be a new piston and rings. Try Google and search for Cagiva parts

think the cheapest one i've seen is £75 from ebay
