Coastbusters Tuesday 20th May

Last year i joined in with a group doing a coastal tour of Britain for the scottish leg of the trip and had a great time

Ive found another couple of blokes doing the same the opposite direction.
They will be stopping over near Ayr on Tues 20th. I plan on meeting up with them that day and riding up the coast.
I have to be back in Irvine for Wednesday night so may do 2 days depending on the money situation but at the minute it looks as though ill just do the Tuesday.

Heres the original details of the full trip

Anyone fancy coming along?

Sounds like a good one mate, though I don't think I'll make it myself.
Depends on what time and if I can get time off work.

Keep us posted on times etc

.

I also said to Euan who is organising the trip i would pass on his justgiving link for anyone interested in sponsoring so here it is.

Quote:
Ovarian cancer accounts for 204,000 new cancer cases and 125,000 deaths per year worldwide and is the fourth most common cancer in women. This reflects the generally late diagnosis and the frequent development of drug-resistant cancer cells. These are problems than need to be tackled head-on. Ovarian cancer action is committed to improving survival for women with ovarian cancer through research, awareness and giving a voice.

Between 17th May and 24th May 2008 Euan Stronach, a cancer scientist from the Ovarian cancer action Research Centre at the Hammersmith hospital London, is going to ride over 3200 miles around the UK coastline on his motorbike, in order to raise money and awareness for the charity. He will be joined at several points along the way by various like-minded biking fools.

The ride will take in the most southerly (Lizard point), westerly (Ardnamurchan point), northerly (Dunnet head) and easterly (Lowestoft) points on the UK mainland plus the conventional stops at Land's End and John O' Groats. It's expected to involve 8 consecutive days of around 12hrs/day riding. Better get a comfy saddle then!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Ovarian cancer action will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
