OK I don't live in Ayrshire, but I was born and brought up in Kilmaurs, Went to Grange High School in Kilmarnock (late 60's/early 70's). I was in the same class as Derek Turley(RIP) and Ian Sharpe.  I did 5th year at Kilmarnock Academy (72/73 I think), before traveling the world with Shell Tankers and eventually settling down in Newcastle upon Tyne.
So I probably know a few on here, and hope to get to know more.
I passed my bike test 29 years ago, still got a clean licence, and currently a motorcycle instructor in Newcastle.
My ride is a 1996 Yamaha Vmax 1200cc (full power) which I have ridden for the past 5 years.
ATM the alloy bits are away getting powder coated and waiting for some other bits, so will post photos when back on the road (hopefully shortly).
