Hi Spud MCS in Renfrew have there own place that does powdercoating heard mixed reports about quality though so not sure if I would go there. Would need to see some of there work to tell you whether its any good or not.

Yes mate, Lots of bad reports about there powder coating.

I would rather use someone from over this way, so I don't need to travel to far.

there is a wee work shop of shaw farm road prestwick near the stainles steel fabricator /  an wheel repairer.  for get his name but give a day or so an a will get it for you if yae like

Ooooh stainless is the guy any good for one off bike parts and whats his prices like. Is he approachable or is he a Twat some of the metal guys round about get sniffy if you ask about  making one off pieces.

he ok but he can be pricy for some thigs but it he is like all other engineers in the area hes got a bit of an monopoly in this type of work

am wanting rear peg hangers and a crank case cover for the BA and some other bits and pieces as and when I have the money done chrome over the years and it dies so its stainless or nothing

You should try these guy's mate, they maybe able to help.

Yeh.....getting away from that chrome stuff myself, to much cleaning.

That's one of the things I don't miss about the Triumph.

stainles is like all metals its gittin  pricey even nuts an bolts > JIM COULL
 ENGINEERS IN NORTH NEWMOOR IRVINE IS A HANDY MAN FOR ONE PART ITEMS  BUT LIKE EVERY ONE IN THE TRADE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR   ROUND BAR 1/2 IN DIA 10IN   LONG CAN COST £8>£10  1/4 PLATE CON COST £6> £9 PER SQUARE FOOT .

I got those casings back today and the guy did a superb job.
