Yes folks 2009 event already on the go. Same place.....Benone but a week later than normal due to the council wanting to squeeze as many summer weeks as possible out of their site.
Dates for 2009 will be Friday 25th to Sunday 27th with a club night on Sunday night for invited guests and anybody from outside N.I. who made the effort to come over the channel.
Like this year many turned up on Thursday and stayed on site through to Monday, the same will apply for 2009 to accomodate folk wanting to make a mini holiday out of it.
Details will be posted up in the next cuple weeks about the event on www.quayvipersmcc.com. Photos are up from Septembers event for anybody who wishes to browse and see what the craic is.

Nancy
The more the merrier. Talking to Nutt Travel and they will be sorting good ferry deals for the rally folk for 2009. That is our aim to not only create a rally but for folk like yourself coming over and using the rally as a base for a mini holiday and exploring the area. Far cheaper than staying in accomodation and better craic.
We have a four page spread in BSH this month written by Stevie one bloke one Mandoline with a selection of 100 interesting photos to choose from sent in by ourselves.

Had a row with Nutt travel last year cos we ended up with 3 different prices for bikes bokked week apart but with same card! Have 2 give them credit though cos when I questioned them anout it they made all the prices the same and refunded the difference to me so was a good result  q13

Try other agents first to compare prices.
Nutt travel looks after sailing to Scotland at least 14 weekend sailings a year for the club and we have never had any problem. The sailing companys only take except for NW200 week 40 bikes a sailing. They call the boat full on their computer after this even though the boat may have only a couple dozen cars on board. Nutt Travel is able to on occasions override this. They are more a biker friendy agent than any other and will look after their customers. Ocassionally there will be hiccups but if they find they have made a mistake they will rectify quickly.

Prebooked tickets now available with a book already gone, all but one to Scotland and England. See web site for details. Tremendous response so early in the year. Could be that we have now a Scottish Viper contingent on the go, all mad party goers..............happy days.

Update.
New catering and bar this year run by Stonebridgegroup who did the bar and catering at e NW200 pits ths year. Food will be top notch but at burger an prices all under canvas. No cueing and eating outside if it rains.
Everything up and running with over 150 tickets gone to UK mainland already. Last year we had over 400 UK mainland visitors, so sort your boats out first via NUTT Travel for best deal/

Entertainment sorted out with full blown music from all styles within reason for 3 nights. Already large numbers of our Scottish biker mates booked onto the ferrys with many arriving on the Thursday and staying right through to the Monday. Hope they have the stamina.
Food and bar s by a well known restaurant owner who covered this years NW200 pits and corporate events, so should be good grub all indoors again.
Last date for pre-booked tickets is the 12th. After that it gate payment only. Further info is on rally dropdown on www.quayvipersmcc.com.

Timing out there Nancy. Must have been a good New Years Eve though.

Most of the organising completed, with only 4 days left for some of us before the build 8am Wednesday morning. Few of our Scottish members will be over to help out before the liquid refreshment proceedings start on Thursday evening with bar and kitchen up and running.............hopefully.
Looking forward to see a lot of faces from last year, for many it is their 4th year in a row. Must be getting the format right to warrent the expense of the journey. Reason why we call it a mini holiday now running into a four night event for some.
Ride Safe and enjoy the craic.......see you next week
